Which American company looks financially strong? Microsoft offers a useful case study because its annual report separates revenue, operating income and net income. Those measures answer different questions; none is a complete trust score.

The reported financial snapshot

In its fiscal year ended 30 June 2026, Microsoft reported revenue of $331.839 billion, operating income of $155.237 billion and net income of $133.749 billion. Revenue was up 18% year on year. These figures come from the company’s FY2026 annual report.

What each number can tell you

Revenue describes the scale of sales. Operating income focuses on profit from operations after the associated expenses. Net income comes after additional items and taxes. A reader interested in financial capacity should examine all three rather than quoting the largest number as money freely available to spend.

For comparison, choose another company’s equivalent reporting period and accounting measure. A fiscal year ending in June is not the same window as a calendar year ending in December. Label the period before placing figures beside each other.

What this says about the stock

An earnings report and a share-price return are separate records. To identify a better-performing share, define the start and end dates, trading currency and treatment of dividends. This article does not supply a live share-price comparison or identify the best stock to buy.

What a customer should investigate

A large financial result does not answer whether a particular product fits your requirements. Review the exact service, support commitment and destination website. For a business relationship, write down which evidence matters to you before comparing suppliers.

Our company trust checklist separates financial evidence from service evidence. You can also compare how SAP presents operating profit.

Where KingOfWebs fits

The United States throne is a geographic advertising placement. A company’s presence on the platform is not evidence of its financial strength, certification or reported annual advertising budget. The research and the purchased crown describe different things.
